There were also reports of it bricking RGB Controllers when trying to update that firmware a little while back, at least that was a recoverable issue in the few cases I've come across. That situation probably isn't too common, but just the fact that it happened is a point against it in my book. A co-worker had a board brick because Dragon Center decided to flash a BIOS update even though he only told it to scan for updates, and then had a power outage. as long as i can control the rgb by manually setting the rgb static 0-255 ill be happy. If you don't need Dragon Center for RGB or some other "exclusive" feature (you can control fans in BIOS), don't use it. And i dont care about crazy rgb patterns in the tower. i like my fans kicking at 100% if the temps reach above 65c. I dont care about the noise the fans make, its barely audible above the game/ media im viewing. Is there another program i can use to control the rgb inside the tower, and also set custom fan curves? then i can just not use dragon center at all. thats very annoying to do every single boot.ĭoes anyone know of a solution where i can disable dragon center from even seeing the keyboard? completely leave it alone and not change it in any way? i have to manually end icue then restart it in order for icue to take back over. I even have it set to NOT override other rgb software in the settings but it does anyway. but i cant figure out how to make dragon center NOT take over my keyboard. There is no way in dragon center to do this. The top bar scrolls rgb while all my normal keys are white and all my function keys and non number or letter keys are light blue. But in iCue i have it set per key exactly how i want it. i can ONLY have the keyboard set to all solid colors or the predefined rgb patterns they do. I would do without dragon center if i didnt need it.Įverytime i boot my pc, dragon center takes over my keyboard and turns everything red. I then use iCue for the rgb and custom profiles and custom dpi settings, and macro settings on my corsair k95 rgb platinum and my corsair nightsword mouse. I use MSI Dragon Center for custom fan curves and mobo, gpu, cpu cooler RGB.
